Wow y’all… we have had a lot of really promising, enthusiastic applicants/interviewees for our open position (working the case, slinging baked goods, remembering y’all and your fave goodies, being awesome…).
How on earth are Elizabeth and I supposed to choose just one of these amazing people???
I’m tempted to have a dance off… 
Pray for us to make a good decision and for our lovely, charming applicants to all find wonderful places that are their best fit!!!
Aaaggghh!!!! Our first national magazine feature!!! I just almost wet my pants with excitement! Deep breath, deep breath…
Our minty brownies are a little shy, but they asked me to tell y’all that they are so thrilled to be featured in the “Eat & Run” section of Every Day with Rachael Ray this month (December issue) along with three other brownies from Two Tartes Cafe in Seattle, Flying Monkey Patisserie in Philadelphia, and Bleeding Heart Bakery in Chicago.

As many of you saw last week, our white residential double-stack ovens decided to retire early. They’ve broken down several times in the last few months (probably because they were never intended to be on for 24 hours a day!) and this time was the final hit. Let’s have a moment of silence for these hard working ovens…
Luckily, we’ve managed to save our pennies and we are so excited to welcome the newest team member to the bakery… check out these gorgeous guys!
