Oops! I had this post for the finale of the Atlanta bakery tour and forgot to post it… my apologies!
Mom and I took our loot back to my cousin Stewart’s house (the Fourmy/Bond/Gordon club headquarters for the weekend) so the whole group could partake of the goodies and ‘taste-test’ the cookies, cupcakes, and scones from three of Atlanta’s bakeries. We devastated the entire stash… about a pound of cookies, 3 scones, and 15 or so cupcakes. We compared textures, flavors, and yumminess in general. Everyone loved the mini-cookies from Alon’s, the favorite from Chocolate Pink was by far the pink lemonade, and as for everyone’s favorites from Atlanta Cupcake Factory… EVERYTHING.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have our winner… Atlanta Cupcake Factory scored the highest on the family taste-test as well as the highest on my own ‘bakery visit as an experience’ customer service test and ‘place I’d like to hang out’ atmosphere test.
Congrats Atlanta Cupcake Factory… I can’t wait to visit again! (now if only they had pie… )
