Another tip for staying sane during the holiday season:
Tip #2… Two words: gift cards.
People love gift cards, they don’t spoil, and you can keep them on hand for emergency gifts. You know when someone you weren’t expecting to exchange gifts with surprises you with a present? You are simultaneously filled with delight (yay, prezzies!) AND your stomach fills with lead as your brain screams “ohmygosh, what now? Can I say I mailed their gift? What can I find for them at the last minute? Ack, I’m going to die of stress before 2012!”
Get you some Muddy’s gift cards in a common amount (say $10) and keep them on hand for moments like this. Seriously, this is so perfect for teachers gifts, office-mates, random relatives, your kids, and anyone who likes to eat sugary treats (aka: anyone with a soul).
Bonus: pre-ordered gift cards can be packaged in these adorable little cellophane sacks; just let us know at the time you pre-order if you’d like us to package them! (see below for pre-order info)
***Pre-order your gift cards now!***
Instead of waiting for a cashier to activate a dozen gift cards while you stand there trying not to think about your grocery list and if you left the dryer on and if the people in line behind you are plotting your demise, just shoot us an email at orders@muddysbakeshop.com or call us during business hours at 683-8844 to place your order the day before. Then all you have to do is come pick them up! Win!
Minimum gift card amount is $5 per card.

I thought this was a great idea! I went tonight to get a gift card and wanted that cute packaging… the cashier had no idea what I was talking about…. I was sad. So I just took the gift card tonight and will do my own packaging.
Terri- I’m sorry you didn’t see in the post where we offer packaging on gift cards that are pre-ordered (see “bonus” line above). The three people who handle the pre-orders are the ones who have the packaging supplies since we just started this, which is why the cashier was unfamiliar with the procedure.
I’d be happy to wrap it for you if you like or leave the supplies for you to pick up. Again, I’m sorry that you didn’t see that part of the post! Thanks so much for reading! -Kat
Thanks Kat! It’s ok. In all my excitement, of thinking what a great gift idea, I was impulsive and had to have it! I appreciate your commitment to your customer service and will always be a fan of Muddy’s. You all are the best!
Aw, thanks Terri! I can’t even tell you how much that just made my whole morning.
Shoot me an email at eat@muddysbakeshop.com if you want to set up a time to meet and I can do your gift card. Merry Christmas!!!!
