We offer a some groovy products other than our delicious food. We sell cake plates, greeting cards, birthday candles, and totally stellar handmade aprons made by Memphis’ own Love For Sale! We try to think of what will flow with the shop and make our customers’ lives easier, so if you have a suggestion for a product that meets those criteria, please let us know!

Cake Plates

We get our cake plates from a variety of places. I’m an avid garage saler, so many of these are my finds. Some are vintage, some are reproduction, all are totally adorable!

Prices range from $20-$50.

Aprons by Love for Sale

These aprons are made exclusively for Muddy’s by Love For Sale; they are hand-made here in Memphis by Real People and each one is unique. We have adult full aprons ($35), adult half aprons ($30), and child-size aprons ($25). Each apron is handmade and unique so our selection changes all the time.  Stop in and see what we have in stock! Love for Sale also makes items like handbags, baby stuff, wallets, etc.  We don’t carry these items in the shop, but feel free to check out their site.

Greeting Cards

We sell greeting cards with artwork by local artists, graphic designers, and small letter press companies. We go out of our way to feature both locals and cards that you can’t find all the over the place. Most are birthday cards (because when people pick up their cakes, many are for birthdays) but we do have some congrats, miss you, love you, and snark cards too.

If you ARE a local artist, designer, or printer and would like some cards featured here, let us know! We currently have cards by Yee Haw Industries, Sycamore Street Press, Paper Pastries, Dutch Door Press, TweeCards, Darling Clementine, and Morris & Essex.

Raw Honey

Ever heard of Peace Bee Farm? Well, they’re kind of a big deal. PBF is quite nearby, just across the river in Arkansas. Their honey is absolutely delicious! Eating local honey has its benefits as well; eating honey made with pollen from local plants is said to improve one’s immunity to allergies. And how!

Get 16 ounces of raw honey for $5 or a 12 ounce honey bear for $3.50 at Muddy’s!

Miss Mildred’s Wicked Vanilla

Mildred is the alias of Memphis native Courtney Shove. “Mildred” comes to Muddy’s from time to time to make her special homemade vanilla extract. The vanilla is bottled in darling little amber apothecary bottles and makes a delightful hostess gift, birthday prezzie, or special little happy for any occasion.

Cup-A-Cake

These are so adorable; customer Connie brought one back from out of town and so we started carrying them. These puppies fit one cupcake each and they’re perfect for lunchboxes, sneaking into the movies, etc.

Cupcake Stand / Hors d’Oeuvres Tier

I searched high and low for the perfect cupcake stand for y’all and this is totally it!
It has three flat tiers (rather than individual cupcake holders) so that you can put a range of cupcakes rather than a set number; it fits up to 40 Muddy’s cupcakes comfortably.
It can also be dismantled easily for flat storage! This is a huge perk because if you’re like me, you don’t particularly want to dedicate an entire cabinet to storing a party-piece you’ll only use a few times a year.
We try to keep some stocked already put together and some still in boxes, in case you are planning to ship it.
