The Delicious Details

Yay! Our Visioning Master Series is back! A three part class series tailor made for folks who want to go deeper with visioning and really put it to work. This is a small group class and while it is instructor-led, part of the magic of the series is YOU! The cohort of students is very important for group accountability and momentum.

Week 1- Wed June 16, 4:30-6:30pm: visioning basics & getting started on your first draft

Week 2- Wed June 23, 4:30-6:30pm: move to second drafts and learn some advanced exercises

Week 3- Wed June 30, 4:30-6:30pm: wrap up with building a plan & identifying next steps.

Come join us!

(we also have a single class "Intro to Visioning", if this sounds interesting, but you'd rather not commit to a 3 week series)

Want to read an example? Here's our Muddy's 2022 vision.

Next opportunity to take this series: January 2022

aka: How to Get What You Want.  :)
Ever struggle to communicate what you want? Or even define what you want for yourself? Visioning is a core tool we use at Muddy’s to identify what we want (both personally and organizationally) and then clearly communicate it so we’re all rowing in the same direction.
In a nutshell, your vision is the story you write about YOUR future!

This class is designed for individuals; if you'd like help facilitating a group vision for your team, we can help!  Email kat(at)muddysbakeshop(dot)com to get started.

Learn the “secret recipes” for our team’s success!  We’re more than delicious treats at Muddy’s, we’re a strong team and put a lot of effort & intention into how we work, our systems for excellence, and our workplace culture.  We’ve taught internal classroom-style workshops for almost a decade and have hosted other companies’ teams for training since 2017... and now our most popular workshops are available to individuals!

Classes Include:

  • A brief overview of how & why we developed the content.
  • A printable PDF workbook to follow along & take notes, as well as follow up resources, tips, examples, and recommended reading.
  • Classes are hosted by a primary instructor AND a facilitating “sidekick” to help with Q&A and ensure that everyone has a full, fun experience!
  • Lots of opportunity for questions, conversation, and diving into the material.

Q. Do I need to have already taken a vision class?
A. While folks who have taken the Intro class will be starting with a solid foundation, our first session will include some of the most important content from the Intro to Visioning class, to ensure that our cohort begins with a shared context.

Q. How does it work exactly?
A. Your online purchase reserves your spot.  A few days before class, we'll email your "prep packet" and the login credentials for Zoom.

Q. Can multiple people take the class together on one “ticket”?
A. For our Work/Life classes, we prefer one participant per ticket. Even if you’re sharing a screen, the nature of the class means you’re each an individual student.

Q. Who are these classes for?
A. All our “Work/Life” classes began as staff training workshops, so their original “students” were of course, Muddy’s employees. But we found that what works for us at work also works for others... and often in our lives outside of work as well. These classes can benefit anyone seeking to live and work more purposefully and the “recipes” we share can be applied in many scenarios.

Q. Can I book a private class for my group/team?
A. Yes! Private sessions start at $500 for up to 12 participants, but we can often accommodate larger groups with some adjustments to the formatting. Please email for an estimate.

Q. What sorts of teams have taken these classes?
A. All sorts! Various FedEx marketing teams, a UT optometry school team, nonprofits including Thistle & Bee, school groups (both student groups and faculty groups!), and faith organizations... and of course, other hospitality & retail small businesses!

Q. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
A. This is a special series with very limited capacity, so we require at least 7 days' notice for a cancellation with full refund.
