Terms and Conditions for Classes, Events, Etc

This agreement applies to ALL events taking place at Muddy’s Bake Shop, including events hosted by Muddy’s, the Homemade Kitchen, or by a third party. 

By registering for and/or participating in a class or event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

By registering a minor for a class or event, you certify that you have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of said minor.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Participation in this event/class is voluntary. You recognize and understand that culinary events have inherent risks and that participation is solely at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries, illnesses, and damages.
Participant agrees to release and hold harmless Muddy’s Bake Shop, LLC. and the Homemade Kitchen, and their officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims and/or liability for any injury suffered while participating in an event/class.

CONDUCT
All participants must act in a responsible manner. You agree to be courteous to staff and other participants; respect the onsite property and the personal property of others; and follow all safety guidelines. 
Participants must not run, yell, handle sharp objects or kitchen equipment carelessly, or disregard the instructions of staff. We reserve the right to dismiss participants whose behavior is disruptive or potentially harmful. No refund will be offered for violation of conduct policies. 
If you are a supervising adult (ie: for a kids’ party), you agree to proactively assist in ensuring your group follows our conduct rules.

TICKET SALES AND CANCELLATIONS 
Ticket sales are final. If you cannot attend your event, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. Contact the host if you would like us to see if anyone is on the wait list.
You are responsible for arriving on time. Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late may opt to stay and observe the remainder of class, but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate in the hands-on components. We will not refund tickets for no-shows or late arrivals. 
In the event that your class is cancelled, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund.

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS, & RECORDINGS
Participants may take photographs for personal use; provided that other individuals included in such photographs give their consent.  You may not make video, audio, or any other recordings of class content without express consent.
Muddy’s/ event host may take photographs or make video, audio, or other recordings during events; by participating in class you grant permission for us to use such on our website, social media, etc.  

RECIPES 
Recipes shared with participants are intended for personal use and may not be used for any commercial gain. These recipes are and remain the intellectual property of Muddy’s and/or the Homemade Kitchen/Kat Gordon. 

ALLERGENS
It is participant’s responsibility to ask before booking. Please note that our facility uses milk, eggs, fish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soy; we cannot guarantee against trace elements.
