For the 2nd episode, we're getting by with a little help from our friends. We'll bake a delicious sourdough scone recipe from my friend Sylvia and read a book together... with a visit from another friend! We hope you have fun, get a little wacky, and enjoy the show.
Quick aside: thanks to some tips from local videographer Noah, I was able to find an affordable light & mic to help make future episodes a little easier on the eyes & ears. Hopefully this will be the last with weird light and echoes! ;)
Without further ado... here is episode 2!
Ingredient List for the Bake-a-long:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries (or other berries)
- 2 1/2 cups AP flour
- 1-2 lemons
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 9 Tbl butter
- 1 cup sourdough starter (can sub sour cream or buttermilk)
- 1/3 cup milk or cream
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 Cup powdered Sugar
