Welcome to Muddy's, Nice to Meet Ya!

Hello friends! Lots of changes these last couple years-- both to navigate the pandemic and to operate more sustainably going forward-- and I’m SO grateful that my small business has survived (many haven’t).  Lots is the same (yes, we still frequently sell out of what we bake for the day, lol!), but lots is different too.
So, we’d love to re/introduce ourselves...

Welcome to Muddy’s- nice to meet ya! ;)

+ Muddy's is an old school, neighborhood bakery.
Menu is a mix of everyday favorites, weekly specials, & occasional surprises. Open to the public Thu & Fri 12-5:30 and Sat 10-4.

+ Right now, the shop is ‘bake sale’ style
(packaged grab n’ go), outdoor seating, touchless payment (no cash). Walk in & shop (as always, we bake as much as we can- when it's gone, it's gone!) ... Or reserve in advance online & pickup at the "back door". Menu for the coming week goes live Sat pm.  (indoor seating & counter service coming summer 2022!)

+ Homestyle Southern classics are our specialty:
cookies, cakes, pies, cupcakes, etc. Our tiny team bakes in small batches, from scratch, with traditional, high quality ingredients (butter, local eggs & produce, real vanilla, more butter...). Savory items include take & bake quiches and pot pies, chicken salad, and pimento cheese.

+ But wait, there’s more!
Shop our favorite baking tools, local foodstuffs, splendid spices, handmade aprons, etc.  Enjoy a cup o’ coffee with your treats-- our special blend by Dr. Beans!

+ We even share our recipes for success
Whether it's our hands-on baking classes, cookie decorating parties, team-building events, even leadership development & professional training... we love to share our expertise to help set others up for success.  And our new classroom space is so awesome!

(the one & only) Muddy's Bake Shop
